I was driven around and all sudden my CEL came on and car start bogging down and missing like crazy so i hook my dsmlink up and got the codes its saying

0300 Random missfire
1400 Manifold Differential Pressure MDP sensor malfunction

So dose that mean i have a bad MDP? and i got a 6bolt and that sensor is just hanging and not hooked up so would that cause a problem such as loseing alot of power and boggin down?

Also could i trun this off with dsmlink i read about people doing it but dont know how they did it. I dont see a opition to do so in dsmlink

The MDP sensor is just there so the ecu can see if the EGR is working correctly it dose not effect how your car runs . You should set dsmlink to ignore the MDP if you don't even have it installed. The bogging is probably from whatever is causing the misfire, the MDP code may have been a stored code (probably because the mdp is just hanging ) that did not turn the CEL light on. Clear them and set the Dsmlink to ignore the MDP and see if the your still getting the misfire CEL.
