as you can see i got a deal! i think :D

about my car
1995 GSX nothing done to it exept the K&N box filter its an automatic 119 on the clock i bought it for 1500!!!! LOL im being really lucky with this car it is perfect condition no rust! and everythin is in top shape even the leather! and sun roof.

NOW i bought this BOV cause mine was cracked (plastic crap one) i followed your guys advice and went with a 1g bov all i have to do i bolt it on right and drive off? the car is completly stock

I can't remember what the stock flange is made out of on a 2g but I believe its plastic as well as the BOV. My friend just welded that flange onto a metal piece and connected it in the stock pipes with clamps and it has been working fine with no leaks. Obviously it is going to need some type of welding because he cut the bottom piping so you can't just connect them with clamps.

Looks to me that with the adapter its just clamp in and go. Shouldn't need to weld any flanges because the adapter will clamp into the upper pipe and the bov outlet should clamp right into the recirculation hose. At worst you may have to make a new recirculation hose.
Great buy. Best thing about the 1g bovs is you can also dodge garage mod them rather than crushing when boost levels get higher than about 15 psi.

Honestly, get a new upper intercooler pipe made. My car felt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO different when i did the dave brode upper pipe with the 1g bov because the stock pipe necks down big time by the air filter/airbox. Trust me, it's worth it.

When i did mine, first pull, the front end lifted up and then pop. Blew the lower intercooler pipe. Tightened it back up and drove around with a smile all night :) but of course a few months later, i was back to buying more parts. This was 04. It is now 08 and i'm still buying shit :)

It's ADDICTIVE

alright thanks guy and yeah ill get uicp i was thniking dejon? idk i need to do more research but i have all the money to spend since i only bought it for 1,500 with everything in awsome condition, one more thing guys what do you think about this? >>>> Cut the BOV dump tube on your DSM (2G)

If you have 40 bucks to spare you could order a Ebay injen style intake or better yet the FP intake. Theres a sale going on right now.

cool but i cant im only 16 :) so i dont have money right now... hey your car looks like mine expet mine is a 95 gsx , does any one know how much hp you gain by gettin a 1g BOV? 1/4 times ???

It will bolt right up, its already to be put in... all you gotta do is lose the clamp for your stock 2G one and then clamp that 1G one on... I have mine just like that except mine is the HKS with a 1G flange adapter

you won't gain any hp just by getting a bov unless you other one was leaking boost. you might get a slight boost increase from getting rid of a leaky bov but no one would be able to estimate the hp gain. As far as the bov dump hack, go ahead and do it. your turbo and bov will sound better and you'll free up some air flow. If you have the extra money I would suggest getting an ebay intake. They're cheap and flow waaaaaaaay better than stock.

I just use regular Advance Auto Parts degreaser to clean my turbo. I don't use the foaming stuff, it just doesn't seem as strong to me.
