What is that sensor above the oil feed line...?

...and if that happened to break off, what is the harm?

im not sure why but i couldnt find what that was for anything, thanks.


we broke it while installing my friends 14b....(well, I broke it...sry cobie LOL)

so as long as the oil is checked on a normal basis, it isnt going to do harm right...easy
 
The light is nice when trying to prime the oil pump but if it comes on while driving, 9 out of 10 times it's to late to save you from damage.
 
Same thing happened to me. While installing the same turbo actually. Got the same answers in the thread I made about it. The pressure still reads but the light doesn't come on.
 
well its not on my car, but i will let him know. Im sure he wont have a problem picking it up, at that price id def. not be without one.
 
the black plastic part, with the screw, broke. after it broke e made sure nothing was going to leak, i could tell it was a sensor like the oil pressure line on the other side.


now that I think about it, the wire going to it wasn't even connected...
