Now i know there has been alot of speculation about the new afc neos. I just spoke to a tech at the apexi office in california because i have a neo. He told me that serial number does not matter. All neos need to be sent in and reprogrammed. They are very nice about it. They send you an email when you call them and you fill it out then they arrange fed ex to pick up the neo and they have it back within 2 to 4 business days. For those that dont know the afc neos cant read in karmin which is what our cars read in. The afc 2 and 1 can but not the neos. Also if you installed your neo already all you need to do is unplug it from the harness. Also you will need to reconnect the wire that you cut and should have put on the metal adapters. I did mine right but i dont know about other people (could have jerry rigged it). Your car should run fine for a couple of days just make sure you have a logger handy just in case.
