factory alarm and greddy turbo timer

I recently installed my old school Greddy timer in my car. Everything works fine. The only thing that bugs me is that the alarm does not arm when I lock the door with the keyless. I read the vfaq but it was unclear as to whether or not that modification would work with the Greddy timer. Anyone have any ideas?

It will work. They are all almost the same. They all plug into the harness. The only reason the alarm won't arm is because the car is made to not lock or cut the alarm on with the motor running. the vfaq basically makes the car bypass the engine running check. That's all.

Oh nice. I didn't use a harness though. My timer had the plug cut so it was just wires. Sucks I know but for $30 I'll live with it.

yeah thats how my car is when my greddy turbo timer runs the alarm wont set but when my timer turns off it will. as he said ^
