I have a feeling I'm beating a dead horse here, but 1st off thanx all for putting up with my bitching about the gator grip thing the damage wasn't too bad and the advice got me past it but...

Is there really no DSM specialty store that carries replacement endlinks for the rear swaybar? You'd think someone would, I know I'm not the only one who hates that seemingly 13&1/2mm stationary nut. One is being a bi*** to get off and from the looks of things I may as well replace both.

Heh btw both the swaybar instructions AND my Haynes manual were both kinda bs about only having to unbolt "just the front part" or "just the left side" of the subframe to get the damn stock bar out the bi*** wouldnt budge until I had all four points out. I have a feeling I wouldhave rather had all four out anyway (6 including the two teardrop bracket ends but those are easily swung out of the way once loosened).

the nuts on my rear swaybar rusted and when i took them off they snapped off, the dealership wanted $60 dollars and my local welding shop charged me $5 to make some solid ones to fit. they have worked for me ever since!

If you check my photo gallery I have some photos of my heim joint end links. They were easy to make, some angle iron and the heim joints. They costed me a little more than$ 20.00.I used 3/8 heims and I had to cut them to fit.If I remember I had to cut them in half to fit

Cool shit, thanx for the ideas. Hey Pagosa DSM those are some trick strut braces do you have the crossmember measurements on those? ...Damn Pagosa thats like 90% of the way to Durango, must be fun tho. Heh I'm originally from the North denver suburb area.

The front and rear strut bars are a one off custom made.I took hours just cutting, grinding and filing them to fit.I can give you measurments, but you still have to fit them to your car.The bars fit so tight you can't fit a peice of paper between the bars. From such a tight fit when welded there is a limit of warpage.
