Does it matter the Brand???????????? The HKS logo is at the end of the cams but im not sure if you could just look str8 in and see it, maybe with a small light or something at an angle.

What? Please, Grammar.

Yes you should be able to see your cams when you take off your oil cap.

Whether it says HKS or not depends on... (you'll never guess)whether you have HKS cams.
yes i have hks cams. but i had my motor rebuilt by a shop i never really paid attention to lookin at them and i did yesterday, but it doesnt say HKS on them. Im pretty sure it use to say it

what would the 404 stand for on the cams

404 Error, HKS cams not found ROFL
Sorry, I had to. On my HKS cams they have "HKS" cast into the cam on the timing side (I think...) but it's definitely cast into the cam. Taking off your valve cover isn't that hard, just remove the spark plug wires (remembering which is which), unbolt the 14 or so bolts both around the outside of the cover and in the spark plug well, and it should pop right off, giving you a clear view of your cams and any castings that may or may not be on them.

Just make sure when you put the valve cover back on you dont over tighten the bolts... I learned the hard way, and I did not even think I tightened them tight but my valve cover cracked. I believe its 2-3 lbs, but dont quote me to that, anyone care to correct me if Im wrong.:sneaky:
