hey guys, im new to the site but not to eclipses, i just got one last night which makes my 4th one, but i have a problem, it has a new cltuch in it and everything but it is hard to find the gears and to get into gear, the guy i got it from said it was the shift linkeage, ### do yall think ### its really annoying when u cant find 1st at a stop light or second when turning corners, so tell me ### yall think...thanks

It's most likely not the shift linkage. Cables on a 2g are non-adjustable.

Adjust clutch, bleed or replace hydraulics if necessary.

ok i will, i forgot to mention that the shift linkage is from a 1st gen eclipse, the guy put it in before me, would that much difference
