Hey folks,

My rotors are slightly warped. I am putting together a package to upgrade. I haven't seen or heard from anybody on THIS forum about rotorpros rotors. I would love to hear from somebody who has them.

As I understand it, they are made from Centric blanks. Centric provides blanks to Powerslot and Stop Tech which, I hear, are reputable companies and sell quality parts. On the other hand, they are an eBay company. :barf: MAPerformance has the package of a set of 4 rotors with a set of hawk hps brake pads. If I can get some positive responses regarding the rotors I just may bite on that. I plan on going with slotted and crossdrilled.

I figure I might as well upgrade the brake lines to SS while I am in there right!? :thumb: Is techna fit any good? If not, which company is the one to go with that wont break the bank?

Exhaust. I have been scoping catback systems for a while. Over time, I have come to thing that I should just get the muffler I want and have an exhaust shop mandrel bend me the piping. I could put the saved money towards a high flow cat. Thoughts?

That should do it for me at this time. I really appreciate all your guys' input.

i dont have any info on your rotors sry.. But as for your exhaust just buy all stainless steel. anything else will eventualy start to rust and you will end up replacing them every year or every 2 years. You will be saving money in the long run. i went with the apexi n 1 3 inch turbo back.

EDIT: no cat. it helps haveing a licenced inspectionist as a dad.

Thanks for the input. I live in CA so I don't have the luxury of just going turboback. That would be badass. I will have to settle for a downpipe to highflow cat. The apexi n1's are a little too loud for my taste. The sound is nice but I would think that it gets annoying on a long freeway ride trying to listen to some music. Maybe you can sway me? What is your experience with your exhaust setup?

No input on the brakes, but as far as the exhaust goes i say get an eBay 3" catback system, i got mine brand new for 120 shipped. I think there selling for a little more now but they all probably cost less than having a muffler shop make you a system. And about the down pipe and cat, unless you have to have a cat for emissions i would get either an ebay cat delete downpipe or the Megan racing one(both cost about the same).:dsm: just my .02

I also run the full Apex'i N1 3" turbo back. I love it. It's pretty loud when you have your foot in it. But just cruising on the highway around 2800 its pretty mellow

Not much of a fan of eBay products. Don't really trust em. And I need a cat to stay legal.

The Megan Racing 3" catback isnt that much, the Apexi N1 catback is fairly low compared to some other brands(Greddy, HKS, etc.)

I have been eyeing the hks hi-power catback, apexi n1 catback, and megan catback. I am sure all of them would be nice. I was just thinking if I got the muffler and went to an exhaust shop to get my 3" piping done, I may save some money. I could be out of my mind though. Will I, in fact, save money?

So I did some checking on your rotors and they look and sound legit. I cant find anything good, bad or otherwise on the rotorpros, so go with the proven stuff. The techica hoses are good, they been around a while. I use the cryo'd and slotted Powerslots and Goodridge hoses, awsome pedal feel and way better stopping than stock, but still not a big brake kit. Thats my opinion, but I also havnt ran anything else. Hope that helps.

I hear ya. I have some 19" racing hart c2's that I am going to be putting on eventually. Currently on stock. I would get a big brake kit but the calipers wont clear the c2's. I don't see the point in spending MORE money on some wheels when I have perfectly good ones already. I think the slotted and crossdrilled rotorpros with hawk hps pads and SS brake lines should serve me perfect for what I do. Thanks for the input! I appreciate it.
