Last night I put in a set of FIC 550's just wanted to check something real quick...
I know that you have to replace the stock seals in the head with the ones that come with the new FIC's, but my question is, do you have to stick the seals in the head first and then put the injectors in? Or just leave the seals on the injectors and then you when you torque them down the seal will push into the head?

I always leave the seal on the injector. I just put the injectors in the rail, seals on the injectors, then insert them all at once in to the head.

I would lubricate the seals with siliva or whatever else then stick them in the head first to make sure its seated right. after that put the injectors and fuel rail on, but im sure you can do it either way just check for leaks afterward.

I would lubricate the seals with siliva

A good mechanic would use a little bit of lube, but probably not saliva. :D Dielectric grease should be good for it. But it is good advice to lubricate the seals and the top o-rings before installing. I made the mistake of not lubing up the o-rings and suffered a torn o-ring on the #1 injector, which resulted in a huge puddle of gas on my intake manifold. And those o-rings are not a common size.
