Oil mount question..

I have a 1g GSX. Off of the oil mount, is an extension that connects it to the actual oil filter. Is this stock? It looks like it has plugs on it for gauges or coolant lines. I would like to get rid of this, but I'm not sure if it is stock or not. Thanks for the help.
