Turbo:too cracked?

If used in an internal wastegate application yes it will work but as stated above it will leak exhaust gas which will not allow you to run to your desired boost levels.
Now if you were running an external wastegate on your set or were to change to one with the wastegate on the 02 housing then it wouldn't affect it what so ever.

just my $.02

If they are internal-only cracks, then it's fine to use. As long as it does not go all the way through to the exterior of the housing, then it's OK for now. It will only get worse with more use, though.
That is what I'm thinking. If the crack goes all the way through, the exhaust heat and pressure is going to torch the crack larger and larger, lag will increase greatly and you'll be exposing the engine bay to a crapload of unecessary heat.

Why does no-one believe in exhaust wrap anymore? Wrap that baby up along with your exhaust manifold.:thumb:
