i have a 95 fwd turbo talon and the battery light is on but im not sure why yet but i think its because of a hanging little black wire off of the wiring bundle that goes up to the alternator. if you look under the car from the front the wire is on the right just under the alternator and i dont know where it goes but its only about six inches long out of the little plastic wire protector thing i will post a pic of it if i can get one but would someone please help me with this.

He's right. The oil pressure dummy light and oil pressure light are in the wire bundle for the alternator, the alternator wires just split off the bundle before those. All the wires for the alternator are secured with a nut, or through the one plug on it.

Check and see if when you turn the car on you get the dummy light check for the oil pressure. If its not coming on when you go to RUN, then thats most likely the one.
