Thermal Vacuum Valve?

Can anyone help me out? I need a new thermal vacuum valve and everywhere i go to look for one, the advanced auto tards look at me like im crazy when i ask for one!

That's because there is nothing called a thermal vacuum valve in a dsm (or only the dealer has it). You probably are not calling it by it's correct factory name. What is it attached to, what does it control, and what hoses are on it?

It is called an emissions thermo vacuum valve. It is part of the egr system on 1g's. Advance has them because I bought one from them once. The dealer part number is MD103867. You can get one from Welcome! for $21.

I broke mine taking off the vacuum hose to test it. I guess I did need a new one (after I broke it, anyway). Order one from any of the online discount mitsu dealers if you don't want generic. Or $5 @ the junkyard.
