Looking for shop time repair hours estimates

I just realize I've never seen a post on repair job hour estimates.

Isn't there a list for the hours it should take to complete repairs?

If someone has a link or copy of some common repair tasks, could you post it.

ie: timing belt, remove/install transmission, brakes...

Stuff like this varies from shop to shop and from area to area. Prices in CA are different from prices in like NY.

Also, most DSMers are DIYers.

Have you heard of Mitchell on Demand? I have MoD 5.0 installed on my PC and it gives estimated times it should take to do jobs on the cars you select.

You also can access Mitchels manuals for free at many libraries (as well as AllData).
