97 GST to 95 GST fuel pump swap

hey ok i just got done putting my 97 GST spyders engine,trani,ECU,and engine harness into my 95 GST everything went well and i was able to crank her but i couldnt get fuel to pump thru the return line on the fuel rail..? i was looking at the fuel pump and it wasnt making any noise and i could test it for power nothing happend..? should i swap the 97s fuel pump over to the 95 aswell and will it work?

need to know asap swap is 99% complete!!

You could, the fuel pump swap takes about 10 minutes and you can find the instructions at vfaq.com, the fuel pumps are direct swaps.
