I went to look at a very very minty 1g today that I thought I was going to get a crazy deal on and flip it. It wasn't getting spark, but then I realized the injectors weren't firing as well. ECU? Then I noticed while cranking that the cams weren't spinning. I guess the CAS not spinning was the cause of the loss of spark and injector pulse. I didn't even think to look at it because the timing belt was pretty new and was tight. I tried turning the motor over at the cams with a socket wrench and I couldn't do it. Then while having my friend crank I put my hand on the cam gears. I felt vibrations as if the crank sprocket was spinning and the teeth were spinning on the belt. Any ideas on this? Just very curious.
