well i plan on moving out to nevada soon, and with the situation im in it would save me a lot of money if i could just drive the car there.

i now thats a crazy drive

and im going to ask what you guys think and if its even possible to make it

i have a 93 tsi with about 140000 miles on it
since ive had it ive had no problems but it has some work done to it and my main concern was if i could drive this far with these parts

heres what it has:

motor:
Stock

Big 16G Turbo
2.5" Bushur Downpipe
3" Stainless Steel ATR Catback

Hard Upper Intercooler Pipe
2g MAS
550 Injectors
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump w/ Rewire
Magnecore Wires
HKS Throttle Body Elbow
Manual Boost Controller

Eibach Pro Springs
KYB AGX Adjustable Rear Shocks
Monroe Front Struts
Filled Motor Mounts

Apexi SAFC
Autometer Sport Compact Boost Gauge (Pillar Mount)

thanks again guys

i would bring a decent set of tools, some hose claps for coolant and boost, zip ties, extra coolant and a quart or two of oil. Maybe a set of belts just incase. oh and stay out of boost as much as you can

dude. I just made a 900 mile trip when I moved from St. Louis, MO to Charleston, SC

not one lick of trouble

my car is bone stock but had 201,000 miles before the trip. Rode 70mph whole way through. had only a 30 min. break.

The only thing that would paralyze you would be a timing belt or head gasket. All of which can be checked before leaving. If those check out, I would check all oil/coolant lines, fluids, and tires and buy a couple clamps, hoses, and fluids just in case. spark plugs and wires too?
