So i accidentally put to much tranny fluid in my car...and it seemed like nothing was wrong until i got on the highway and stepped on the gas. It seems soon as the car would get hotter (by going faster) the tranny fluid overflowed out the top of the dipstick.... would this be normal since i added to much? And just an idea if my radiator isnt cooling well enough how often should i get a flush? Around every 60k right?

ATF does expand as it heats. But that's way too much. According to John at IPT the excess will just come out of the overflow but the usual wisdom (and the owners manual) is that overfilling will damage the transmission.

When I first got the 1998 Talon I power braked (gently) every morning to get onto the county road alive and the ATF turned brown and started slipping after 40K. After that experience I stopped power braking and changed the ATF every 50K.

For what its worth, with the 2.3L stroker and the high stall torque converter the Talon needs careful throttle control to make that turn without breaking the tires loose.

My mechanic thinks that its a cooling problem and its overheating a little. Thats why i asked about the radiator. So I'm getting a flush done though..... this should fix the problem.

You should look into the flush first. I have heard a lot of horror stories. From what i understand, When you flush the tranny it can mess up the seals in the tranny.
