I have my car set at 20psi and my clutch is done. I cant boost without it slipping but i had to test my fmic piping today. And as i got on it, it went to 13psi and then started going down then i let off. I was wondering if that is do to the clutch slipping or having a boost leak.(Im getting an ACT 2600 soon) Thanks in advance.:dsm:

Yeah i do you to do a boost leak test, but i was thinking when the clutch started slipping wouldnt it be like reving at idle, and thats why the boost stopped and started to drop. Still trying to learn, so any help/info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, when the clutch is slipping there's not much of a load on the motor which will cause the boost to drop.

thats true when your clutch starts slipping the load is dropping therefor your car feels like it doesnt need all the boost. thats why you cant tune your car when your tires are slipping its the same concept.
