Well I was just under my 93 gsx bleeding the slave cyl and i pulled the clutch fork boot off and out popped a peice of metal about an inch- inch and a half long by 1/8th inch wide... im thinking its a throw out bearing or retainer peice. The questons i have are

Are the clutch kits the same between 6 bolt and 7 bolt motors and 2wd/awd?

The flywheel is stepped right?

Is there anything else i should replace while under there? I will be getting the flywheel surfaced, OEM replacement clutch kit (disc, pressure plate, TOB, etc) should the clutch fork or pivot ball be replaced? First time doing a transverse clutch job, Any tips greatly appreciated.

One last thing, does anyone happen to know what the torque split is of the diff? is it a 50/50 or 30/70 type deal or what?

Thanks again,
Eric

what i was refering to was having the stock flywheel surface.... but i wasnt sure the difference between say a 2.0 n/a fwd and a turbo awd 2.0 clutch disc and pressure plate along with TOB. so far the part numbers ive found to be the same for a 2.0 turbo be it fwd or awd for the clutch set. i just want to verify before purchasing. they have a clutch set sittin at the parts house for 139.99 for a 93 turbo 2.0 eclipse. I appreciate the help and i am just tryin to make sure of things before buying. im not TOO familiar with mitsubishi's which is why i am here to learn. Thank you again and thanks for letting me know the tq split.
