Air coming out of valve cover vent = ?

I noticed that quite a bit of air is coming out of the vent on the valve cover (not the PCV) towards the intake tube when at idle. I first thought it was normal BUT my friend's car has absolutely no air coming out...

So I was thinking maybe bad rings... What do you guys think

Bad PCV and or lots of Blow-by

Get new PCV or simply clean it and install theUS plastics check valve .
Along with a Catch can links IF it does indeed turn out to be blow by.

I thought this was happening to me at first too but then I realized that air wasn't coming out, it was getting sucked in. This seems like it would be normal because air is being drawn out of the valve cover through the PCV valve into the intake manifold, so if you take the hose off the VC breather, air will be sucked in through there. Check to see which it is.

Down side to the US Plastics check valve is they are on back order and are not supposed to be in stock for another month.

Just make sure if you go to the dealer to buy a PCV valve you take it out and blow through it. You should be able to blow through one side. If you can blow through both sides it is bad. Don't waste your time with Vato Zone or Checker(Krager), JUST GO TO THE DEALER. But even the dealer has bad ones right from the box so be sure to check.
I went through 5 to find one that didn't leak.......

But I think the PCV (which is supposed to let air go from the valve cover to the intake manifold) doesnt play a role in this particular situation, which is a lot of air being expelled by the valve cover breather.....
So my guess is my car has bad compression (lots of blow through), what do you think?

BTW, my PCV is fine
