Is there a decent turbo kit for a 420a engine. I cant seem to find a GS-T or GSX in my price range and wouldn't mind a project but cant find one of those either. So it looks like I may be getting a N/A engine. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Hahn has a very nice kit. Expensive yes, but its well worth it. But you can't go wrong by making your own turbo kit since you can buy all the parts yourself making it cheaper and on the plus side you get to choose the parts you want. :thumb:

My price range is not that much . . like 2500 - 3000 right now . . I def would not mind a project GSX or TSI because I would love a AWD but I would at least want one with an engine. And some of the classifieds are very out dated and I don't know if they are still available. I also do not know what is needed to build my own kit. I currently drive a vw and am all about the supercharger. But I have always wanted an eclipse and I now have the means to get one so I am looking.

i got my 95 GSX for 3500, which i think i payed to much, but the car is in pretty good shap for 119k miles

PM the seller to see if the stuff is still available. If you want guidelines for a kit, look at a pre-made kit and just buy your choice of similar parts. $3000 is enough for a decent kit or custom turbo setup, but I would buy a Tsi or GSX/T.

Do people usually take down their ads after they have sold them ??? I would definitely rather have a gsx or tsi but I may not have a choice. Thanks for the input

sometimes they are on for awhile after they are sold. But it doesnt cost a thing to call or pm them to see if they have them still.

i went to the local race shop and wa quoted 3500 to boost my car. thats with all name brand, installed, and tuned. but ive been going there for quite some time and the owner is a friend.
