Can you guys tell me if I ported my relief valve right? Does it look like it is too much or not enough? Thanks.

looks good to me.. I had to pull mine out about 3 times before I got it right, but I also shaved the spring down and added a plastic washer to the bolt to move it out alittle bit.
I had very high oil pressure, now it is great..

Do you think my porting is ok, or do I need to go farther? This is for a 7 bolt with no balance shafts and factory oil cooler.

I decided to port a little bit further just to be safe, while making sure the piston still sealed fine.

Great! Please let me know what the Autometer gauge reads when you get it installed. I won't have enough money to buy an oil pressure gauge when I put the engine back together so I'm relying on you guys to guide me.

They say that if you do the balance shaft elimination thing, that the oil pressure goes up to almost 85 psi. By opening up the pressure relief port, more oil can be diverted and it keeps the oil pressure down. I did the BS elimination, but am not going to do the porting on the relief valve. I will replace the spring with a softer rate spring.

i did mine about like yours and i still get a lot of oil pressure without BS. So i should have went a bit more..
