Ok I've been wanting to ask this question for a while but never got around to it. I put on a Megan dp and cat-back on about a year ago and had some issues with the dp. It's not exactly a prober fit with the stock o2 housing and I have a pretty bad leak coming out of where they connect. I read on here about someone using washers and some other people getting a flange. What should I do? If I do get a flange, what size would it be and would it need to be welded? Oh and if someone could tell me if there is a certain type of washer they used as a spacer and where to get them. This exhaust leak really needs to go, its starting to get embarassing :(

yeah, mind did the same till i got a megan o2 housing to match the DP.

and from what i heard, Megan Racing is redoing the design of the DP again because of this.

I'm not sure if I can get a picture, it's in a real good spot haha. The heat shield makes for very little room to get a picture. It's towards the back, too. Hmmm, you think the nice people at Megan would offer a free exchange when they come out with yet another revised dp?

*** Your best bet is to go with their 02 housing or have them weld
with a right flange, Personally I would just buy the 02 housing...

BTW, Call them up and let them know of such problem, they might give you
a discount towards an 02 housing because of their bad design with the (Down Pipe)

Sorry about bringing up an old thread but I just got the Megan o2 housing installed. It took forever because of backorder and when I did get it, it took me a while to get it installed. I couldn't do it because I couldn't break the bolts loose. I ended up talking to my dad's friend who happens to be a mechanic and he helped me out with it today. We knocked it out in about 2 hours all thanks to his sweet tools. Not one broken bolt and all we had to do was take out the fan. The exhaust leak is FINALLY gone and I have some pics of it installed if anyone wants to see.
