Alright heres the deal
ive been trying to swap out a 1.8l to a 2.0 for a while now. running into several problems and set backs along the way. im finally at the bottom of my list and all i need is a new O2 sensor and the fuel line that goes from the filter to the motor.

i go to autozone and advance auto; neither have the fuel line and say i have to go to the dealership (CRAP). but i get the 02 sensor and give it to my mechanic. the next day he tells me its the wrong one and i pick it up and he give me both the old and the new 1 i bought him. 1 has 2 wires the other has 4 wires and the plugs are completely different. the guy at autozone says he doesnt carry the 1 i need???!? wtf? and that the 1 he gave me is the 1 the comp says my car uses. any reason y thatd have a different o2 sensor?

anyway the other day i went to the mitsu dealership to get the fuel line all pissed cause i knew it was gonna cost an arm and a leg. the guy pulls up like 9 different fuel lines for that car! and since i dont have the original fuel line he doesnt no which 1 i need and said i need the vin # for the car (cant get cause its a motor swap 1.8 to 2.0), i can bring the car in and theyll lift it up and take a look (cant do doesnt run), or i can have 1 made for like 100 bucks (still cant do cause they need to have the car in the shop and it doesnt run!)

to sum it up, does ne1 no why the o2 sensors wouldnt b the same as the 1s in autozone or w.e??? or if there is a vin # on the motor or like a pic diagram to show diff types of fuel lines so i can compare and choose the right one?!

any comments would b appricated

Let me tell you, I did the EXACT same thing a few years ago that you're doing now. Its the same fuel line. You dont need to change out anything as far as the fuel lines to and from the rail go. You will need a 4 wire sensor. Make sure when you buy ENGINE parts you tell them the year for the engine in the car and not the year of the chassis. Is the engine a 6 bolt or a 7 bolt? I did a 6 bolt swap into my 94 DL. The 6 bolt is 90-92.5 and the 7 bolt is 93-94 (all for 1g). Did you get an ECU, turbo harness, injector resistor pack, turbo injectors, turbo transmission, turbo downpipe, cat, pipes, exhaust, turbo gauge cluster? The tach from the 1.8L will not work if you dont swap to the turbo gauge. Your shifter cables will be slightly ackward also. They will probably work but will feel stiff and engagement will not feel positive unless you adjust them and visually verify EVERY gear. The fuel pump you have now is only good for about 13psi before your injectors will begin maxing out. PM me with any specefics because there are not many people who have done this before for GOOD reason. Its really a difficult and tedious project. I did get mine to work and the car is OK for the most part. Dont buy sensors and stuff like that from parts stores if you're not sure of what you need. Check out the vendors/site sponsors. They can get the stuff you need.

No its not turbo. its a 6 bolt and i found the 2.0 N/T gauge cluster ecu and harness that all came from a running eclipse that my friend was parting out.
i told the guy at autozone what i was doing that it was a 92 eclipse 1.8 chasi w. a 2.0 motor and he said no prob and gave me what he thought was the right o2 sensor but wasent and about the fuel line.... well im going to the junk yard monday to try and find a decent looking o2 sensor from a 2.0 and the fuel line.
i doubt ill find a a 2.0 cause in fl people just rip out those motors the moment they come in but who knows i might get lucky
