I have a hahn 16g turbo. My stock exhaust manifold is cracked so I am replacing. My question is about the spacer between the manifold the turbine housing. Is there supposed to be a gasket between each surface? Right now there is a gasket between the spacer and housing.

I would go with the safe answer and say yes. makes sense if its on one side of the spacer it should be on the other.

I am still leery because the surface between manifold and spacer is white showing exhaust leakage.

I hate to admit it but I have the same kit on my 90awd. The spacer is about 1/2 inch thick an is used so that the turbo housing doesnt hit the block. And to ansewer your question, yes, they send 2 gaskets for each side of the spacer in the install kit. I don't know who you talked to at Hahn but evidently they don't even know what they are supposed to have. BTW, how did the turbo perform for you. Ive got mine installed but not got it running yet after complete rebuild.

Before the manifold cracked it pulled hard from 2500 rpm to 6000 rpm. The boost was the problem it would climb to 22+ psi in third gear pulls. Controller on the way. Overall i am happy with it:thumb:
