what is the difference between the safcII and the safc neo? which one do you recomend for my 1996 eclipse gs-t? :dsm:

ok safc2 can have two maps. where the neo can only have one. there pretty much the same thing expect theres a few new things on the neo like rpm and stuff. the safc2 will work just fine and be cheaper not to meation you can do a tune on pump gas and then one on race gas and just switch back and forth by changing one thing

That really depends on what you want. The Neo looks nice since it's smaller and comes in color. It only contains one map, but it has 4 more Ne Points than the SAFC-II. If you aren't switching between race gas and pump gas, you won't have any need for both maps. In that case, I would go with the Neo since you can get them for the same price.

If you do plan to switch between race and pump gas, go with the SAFC-II.

Just be careful with the Neo. I just found out they are having problems with the Karmen output from the Neo. People are having all kinds of problems because of a manufacturer coding error, and the patch isn't out yet.

It only affects some of them, so you want to look for a Karmen Compatibility sticker on the back.
