i have the same problem that everyone esle i read about has at 4000 rmps but mine seems to work its way down. My car has even hit that brick wall at 2300 rmps and less. Could that be a boost leak?? i dont understand why it works it way down the rmps if it is a boost leak. please help

ok i believe its a boost leak.. I did a boost leak test and it couldn't even hold pressure. i could not pin point the leak to any of my pipes but it was coming out from underneight the turbo.. so i am going to pull the turbo and look this week end

You shouldn't have to pull your turbo to fix a boost leak.

In order to properly test for boost leaks, a bottle of soapy water is required. Just spray everythin from where the vaccum lines connect to anythin and around all your intercooler pipes, bov, etc.

After experiencing fuel-cut, I can't see how you could mistake it for boost leak...night/day difference in the feel of it...fuel cut will cause "bucking" as you try accelerate where boost-leak will be just a loss of power after spool-up.

What we're trying to say is that boost leak is the prime culprit that CAUSES fuel cut.
