So I was driving my car the other night (60 degree day) and again the next morning and it was pulling hard and running strong, then I went and got some gas (only 92). My car sits the next day and I take it out that night and the car seems to be running rich as can be (82 degree night) and once I hit boost it goes nowhere. So I think its prob a boost leak but that wasnt the case. I got to bed and then drive my car to work the next morning (60 degrees) and the car is running amazing again . It seems that my car runs like garbage on hot days but on the colder days it runs fine. The temp gauge reads the same on both days but car performs significantly different. Eather that or my car did not like the 92 I put in haha. Anyone have similar problems or know if it could be the gas or over heating problem? I dont have link or any loggers so I cant post any info like that.

Could be the car knocking due to higher intake temps. A logger will tell you if thats what it is.

By 'runs like garbage' do you mean that you feel a power loss? If you do, that is normal. Heat and humidity kill performance.

It sounds like you're getting the summer heat blues.
I was feeling similar effects last summer and went to some extreme measures to drop the intake temps. There are several things you can do, including clearing anything blocking the air passage behind the light, heat wrapping anything and everything under the hood, and, as I did, cut a vent into the hood. If you can drop the engine bay temps or route in fresh air to the intake you'll be doing a lot better.

you could maybe try taking the passenger headlight off on the next warm day and see if it really is just too hot of engine temps causing it to run like crap. that should bring in enough fresh "cool" air to probably make a difference.

Water/meth injection. I'm looking into setting a system up on my car, the only question is whether I make my own kit or buy one. If you arent familiar with the premise of the idea by injecting water and methanol into your UICP the water will cool down the temperature of the intake charge and the methanol will raise the effective octane of your gas (meth has an octane rating of around 116 IIRC). That should definitely solve the heat issues, though it might cost more than other methods.

Would an aftermarket radiator help at all with a few slim fans. I already have some duckting running from where the smic was up to the intake bringing in fresh air to the filter. I will also try heat wraping some things.
