Fitment of SMIM with Greddy FMIC

Has anybody ever used a JMF SMIM with the Greddy 24v FMIC? As you can see in the pic there is a huge height gap where the UICP meets the throttle body elbow. I'm not sure how i will make this one work....

I'd cut it where the weld is there just past the BOV and put a little bend in it and then just use rubber tubing and clamp it, but thats just me... I dunno any other real way to do it.

That portion still looks a little too high, do any other intercooler kits run the same position as stock piping does?
