Thats the CAS sensor seal or O ring, (if there is supposed to be one i can't remember). Dealership should carry them and they should be able to pull the pic of the engine apart with the serial numbers on every part. You might want to try a different dealer.

That would be your crank angle sensor O ring, yes i know its on the Cam, but its called the crank angle sensor, anyways i the part number is MD611831 or MD619648, one of them is discontinued so the other will work, not sure which is which, but thats the O ring, good luck

wups didn't realize it was a 2g sorry i apologize those part numbers are for a 1G, my bad.

First, you need to find out if you have a 2ga CAS or a 2gb CAS. I'm not sure of the easiest way to do this. The 2ga cas is mounted on the cam sproket end of the intake cam, but I'm not sure where the wire from that sensor exits the back of the timing belt cover (searching would probably help you here). The 2gb CAS has a housing that bolts where that hole is in the picture. The CAS sensor bolts into the back of the housing. If you have an electrical connecter going to nowhere near the passenger-back corner of the motor, post a pic.

Once you figure out whether your car has the 2ga/b CAS, go back to the dealership and ask for the part again. I'm not sure what they'd call the 2ga part that plugs that hole. But the shop manual has an exploded picture with part numbers for each component, so they should be able to find it if they have half a brain. Just make sure you tell the mechanic that it's completely different between '95-'96 and '97-'99 cars.
