I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1990 Talon TSi.
When I pulled the motor I found the rubber in the driver's side motor mount is torn.
I searched to get some information on the Prothane inserts and have decided I don't want to use them. This car will be my daily driver when I get it back on the road and is in great shape. Due to it's good condition and it's intended purpose I want to keep it as stock as possible.
So my question is "Where can I get a new driver's side motor mount?"
I did a google search and searched this site but haven't found anyone who sells them.

Vatozone should have them... get in the zone.....

Or Oreilly, or NAPA.... I remember my brother bought a motor mount from them. I guess that doesn't constitute an OEM part, but it is pretty much the same thing.... it's either that or the junk yard. I am not sure if satan still carries them.

You can always take the trip to the junk yard and look for a good one. or you can do it the ghetto way that i did when mine was torn. get alot of silicone that they use for windows and stuff as much as you can in there. Just wait for it to dry up, and ill be as hard as the prothane mounts.

If your looking for a new one, im not sure where to get them but you can always try ebay.

Autozone couldn't get a driver side motor mount for my car, their part # kept showing up as the passenger side, and they kept ordering the wrong part even when I brought the damn motor mount in to show them what it looked like. This was on a 2g however, but maybe you'll have better luck. I just followed Tom's advice and got some of the polyeurethane in the tube at home depot and filled in the motor mount. I think it cost like $15 and works as good as a prothane, although not as pretty :(. Try autozone, might be able to help you out.

RedTalon95,
They might have it, I emailed them and provided the VIN and other pertinent information.

Thanks
