6 bolt in a 98GSX but which DSM LINK do I get?

Im doing a 6 bolt swap and get DSM LINK. So do I need to get the 1g or 2g DSMLINK?

You need the version that matches your ECU. If you are putting a 6 bolt in a 2G, remember to use the 2G FPR if you don't have an aftermarket one, swap the plug wires and use a 95 eprom ECU.

You'll need to get a 2g EPROM ECU and then DSMlink V2 for a 2g.

Auto or 5 spd? If it is auto, you are better off getting the kiggly kit.

As for the link, get it for you specs with "invert cas" as a default.

As for getting the version that matches your ecu, there is only 1 for the 2g. That matches the also required 95 eprom ecu.

Well since you have a 5 speed, don't forget you need a 6 bolt flywheel. Either FWD or AWD whichever you need. And they are not interchangeable.

AMEN!!! Only because I learned that one the hard way. The awd is smaller which in turn doesn't catch on the starter when you try to start the car. Talk about a pita!
