ok so before i had stock T25 and Dejon hard UICP with a Greddy RS then, i put on a SSAC FMIC, and b16G, and now it sounds like a get compressor surge at WOT, im on stock boost control so only like 12psi

but i keep playing with it and it does not go away its not really bad, you hear the Whiffle sound of compressor surge like one time then its regular bov sound

i tryed adjusting it counter clock wise to loosen it but it did not really change.

any ideas?

it is NOT VTA, it is recirculated so idk if the S hose is to flat in a spot??

That's not compressor surge, it's BOV chatter. You have two choices: loosen it up or get a better BOV (like a 1G).

hmm, i loosen it more and it is gone. it i guess it just needed to be alot looser then it was with the T25 LOL

thanks for the help no it runs fine LOL

i have a 16g with greedy type s bov with hks mbc on my 99gst with stock motor how much boost can i throw toit without hurting internals

^^ dude search are you kidding!! There's so much info on 16g's on this site you will be dead before you read it all haha! And on stock fuel system you won't be runing any more than 14-16psi without fuel cut!! Get something to tune with and the proper supporting fuel mods before you think of higher boost!

I had the exact same situation a month ago. No matter what I did I got that noise. I suggest getting a 1g bov, which will need the 1g bov flange as well. I found one cheap on craigslist.
