My fuel system as of right now is a Walbro255 HP, 40 micron fuel filter, Denso 660cc injectors I also have 1200cc injectors and an Aeromotive AFPR that are not installed. I have ran 28psi on this setup with no problems on a 60-1 BB. I am also running E85. My ECU plaform is DSMLink. I'm considering adding another fuel pump to support 32-35psi on this turbo, and will also be upgrading to a -8AN feed/-6AN return setup.

Will another in-line Walbro255HP be enough to support this amount of boost, most likely yielding 500-550hp? At what point should I consider running a Mechanical fuel pump such as a Waterman cam-driven system?

Also, those running a gt4088 with the .95AR housing, are you still utilizing an electrical setup?

any opinions will be appreciated :dsm:

WOW... I was gonna just suggest to look at the profiles. After looking myself, almost no one in the higher HP ranges tell you anything in their mods. I did manage to find a few if ## curious -

View Profile: twicks69 - DSMtuners.com - 740whp (GT4088) using dual walbro's, one in tank and one inline
View Profile: Nvisabl - DSMtuners.com - 578whp (GT35r) using an Aeromotive A1000
View Profile: BlackHawkAWD91 - DSMtuners.com - 570whp (T4 DBB t67) using an intank walbro 255 and inline walbro 392
View Profile: GreddyGst - DSMtuners.com - 560whp (GT35r) using just a walbro 255 ???
View Profile: Kevin90GSX - DSMtuners.com - 560whp (FP3065) using just a walbro 255
View Profile: Awdboost - DSMtuners.com - 555whp (FP3065) using a supra fuel pump
View Profile: unlmtdndeavor - DSMtuners.com - 547whp (FP3052) using a walbro 255

And it seems after that they are starting to actually list mods finally.

The 255 HP pump will support up to 600hp or between 500-550whp. If you want to run a second pump, run an in-line 255 in addition to the intank 255.

One thing of importance is that the mechanical fuel pump does not retain the power steering pump, so unless the car is going to be a drag car, it is going to be a pain to drive. If you run E85 more often than pump, you can consider the mechanical fuel pump.

I read through Twicks69's profile and must have looked over that  thats alot of good info though. thanks.

So the walbro HP will support 600hp alone, is that because it starts to run dry after 600? If I am correct, the secondary in-line pump just keeps everything going pressure-wise? The car is and will be daily driven on e85, If I ever decide on a 4088 the mechanical may be an option, but I just can't find enough info on it. Magnus & DV/DT both make kits but I've never heard a good review on either.
