I picked this car up for 1000 dollars. The interior is almost perfect and the body has minimal damage, only one fender really. The place i am getting it from said they think it broke the timing belt but i would have rebuilt the entire engine anyway to be safe. It's a 1992 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD, buts it's an auto trans. Thanks to this forum i know what's needed to convert to a 14B from the tiny 13B thats in it.

Good stuff. I recently picked up this choice beauty (without the Optima battery) for $800 cash.

Thanks guys. This car is going to be a lot more fun to work on than my last project. A 1994 V6 firebird....no parts, no tuning, nothing really. With the 14B i have on the way, some injectors and an ECU from a manuel, and a turbo back exhaust i am hoping to have a lot of fun. maybe even get the girlfriend hooked and get her one too

Haha. true that. Rust free more than you'll ever be.

Wish I could get to cali man...bet you guys have DSMs that are 20 times better, plus a better selection of on hand parts. We have to rely for parts on the junkyards and internet around here LOL

x2 on the convert... that is a great find man shit there for a moment I thought that was a local junk yard here LOL good luck on the build

x3 on converting to 5spd, that'd be easy though just would take time.

Yeah smog testing would suck, It's alright here in the midwest :thumb:

Agreed. Few supporting mods also.

Yeah i never have understood why people will go from a 13b or t25 to a 14b? It makes no sense when for the same amount of money you could get a small 16g and for probably 50 more get a big 16g or a evo 3! Worry about the other bolt ons first before you mess with that anyway!
