Courtice,
I bought a torque wrench and befor a tighted the head to the block, i lubed up the bolt on my rim and did a test tighten at 72 foot lbs (what my cars head is to be torqued). and it seemed real easy to tighten to this, i could do it with one finger.. its a brand new, already calabrated. is 72 pounds fairly easy???

thanks everyone

no.. you cannot tighten 72 ft lbs with your hands.. LOL.. what kind of torque wrench? I hope you bought a good quality one.. Not a cheapie.. Your sure its not inch lbs?

no no not finger tighten it LOL, but its fairly easy to do the 72 pounds, its a mastercraft wrench, ive already taken one back so i doubt 2 is defective :S thanks guys

well, depending on how long the wrench is, then it may be easier to do it.. a 2 ft long handle would be harder to make 72 lbs than a 3 ft long one..

Thanks everyone, i found out the stupid parts store i bought it from listed the wrench 30-250 foot pounds, and as i looked at the wrenchs manual its inch pounds..
thank god i didnt start it with 72 inch pounds :O
LOL
