ok so i have a 99 GST, its got pretty good amount of work done to the car. i have a manual boost controler and was wondering if a electronic boost controller can allow you to change where in the RPM range you reach peak boost. i am reaching peak boost at like 5000-5500 rpm and then carrying that all the way to about 7000rpm's i was looking to if possible get a boost controller to be able to make my peak boost rite at about 7000rpms. is their even a boost controller then can do this?

no. you cannot change "when" you get full boost with a boost controller. if it was possible we would all run full boost from 1000rpm-9000rpm.

When your turbo spools has to do with your turbo selection and how your engine is built (CR, Cams, Stroke, manifolds, ECT)

true. pretty stupid question then. but any ideas on a good turbo that would give me a good power range like we are talking about. i have a evo 3 now..

I would like to know what other people think, but I'm starting to like the 50 trim. Anyone know of some down sides to the 50 trim so I can consider both sides of the argument.
