I know this isn't a real n00b query, but I don't have rep here yet to post in the proper section. I purchased a very expensive built a/t and the wiring isn't correct for my year car. So I am stuck with a limp mode POS. This s#cks, but I've got to deal with it.

There is plenty of info on wiring directly to the trans, circumventing the flawed wiring by going directly to the A B shift solenoids. I know that others have done so with much success, but have rightfully kept their methods somewhat secret. Just looking for tips and tricks for wiring directly to the boost solenoids and inhibitor switch. This way I am directly connected to the trans via the lever/selector on top of the trans (this is a 1g BTW). The ratchet shifter then becomes more of a safety feature for the trans.

Thanks

Thanks but all I get when I click that is:

"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. "

Well this is even easier. I'm bailing out. I just can't see dumping more money into this thing to make it work with my year car. Even though a ratchet shifter IS cool, no argument there. I know I can't post in the FS section, but if anyone wants a zero miles IPT awd a/t for WAY WAY WAY less than new, PM me. My new 1g 5-speed car is on the way and I need mods for it :thumb:

Thanks for the advice thus far.
