I have read the other threads about shifting hard, however mind is starting to piss me off and I cant seem to find someone with the same problem.

My transmission seems to have PMS sometimes because certain times the cars shifts fine (not like butter, still a little notchy) and sometimes I really have to wrestle it into almost all the gears.

Now, this is why it becomes odd to me. Ill go and start my car up to go to work, let it warm up and go, while Im not beating on it, it is very difficult to shift sometimes, other times fine. But from what I have noticed this last weekend while I was at the track, After beating the transmission to hell during a run, it seems to shift better than ever???

Im not sure what causes these spurts of PMS from my trans/clutch.

History of vehicle:
Previous owner installed ACT 2100/ with Fidanza flywheel. He used the ACT TOB. Which I guess is a no-no.

No skate board or any other type of shifting help mod done. Only short shifter.

I would start by making sure the mount is in good shape. Make sure the bushings are good on the linkage. Make sure the plate is properly tightened. Easiest things first.

Are you running Syncromesh fluid? If not pick up some Pennzoil from autozone for $5 a quart. Get two and refill it. It will make a huge difference.
