Last week I ported the wastegate and o2 housing praying I would solve my boost creep issues. After putting it back together I found that sadly it didn't solve it, but made it alot better. I drove it around for a week and I really couldn't take it anymore so I decided to drop the turbo again and this time get your opinions. I also see that the carbon built up strange so maybe it wasnt as smooth as I need it, but thats not the important part. I am really determined to fix my boost creep issues through porting since my funds are low. Please voice your opinions, I'm not putting the turbo back on until you guys are confident that enough material was taken out. Sorry its full of carbon, if you need better pictures let me know.

EDIT: I know the step is still there, I broke my bits when I was doing it and gave up.

Yeah I opened that up a little more but I was nervous the flapper wouldnt seal perfect so I didnt go to crazy.

Porting the actual hole where the plate seals is not something you want to concentrate on. It is the exit "area" of the wastegate.

And as you now know you can port the exhaust inlet all the way to the circular edge. Let me find a link for you...

Ok from what I can remember there is a "lip" (run your finger around the side of the wastege area) on the inside of the wastegate area. You want to round that lip off so that it is almost a straight wall or atleast curved.

And for what it's worth, I have absolutely 0 creeping issues.
