Help with a 99 GST

What do you guys think is a reasonable price for this car. 99 GST, 99,000 miles, with 18" rims, leather interior, exhaust system, and it has a 2" or 2.5" drop suspension. I test drove it already and it runs nice, especially for a car that hasn't been moved for 3 years. I offered the guy $5500 you guys think thats a good price or is it to expensive? Oh yeah and the guy told me that the new clutch he put in it has about 3,000 miles on it and he has a pioneer sound system in the car.

Personally I think $5500 is well worth it.

What was the guy's original price? 2" drop on 18 inch rims seem a bit low. What suspension is he running?

See if you can talk him down to 5,000. It will be needing some maintanance after sitting that long

Well when he posted it up, he wanted $7000, so I got him to go down quiet a bit. I tried $5000 but he didn't want it, he said $5900, then i convinced him with $5500. I believe I saw that he had KYB shocks and maybe Ebiach springs, the car was his son and his son is at school in michigan so the guy couldn't really tell be much about the suspension. What kind of maintenance will it need after sitting that long?

Blue book it and see how much it's worth. Maintenance can include anything from changing the oil to new wires/plugs to flushing the coolant and trans.

I would take a good look at the timing belt,crank pulley, all the belts,plugs and wires, fuel filter, and check out the turbo. Of course the oil and coolant too

id say 4500. i paid 6k for my 99GST and had 58k miles on the whole car. it came with:
3in DP, custom exhaust, fiberglass body kit, 18" racing harts, Dejon intake pipe, HKS filter, Greddy Type S BOV, Dejon upper intercooler piping, manual boost controller, lowjack, and complete Injen engine dress ups, and a few misc parts. and he gave me a $50 gas card
