Well, I didn't know the spacers weren't there between the fuel rail and the head and I overtightened the bolts and actually snapped the driver side one while it is in the hole. Obviously I am going to have to drill this out but my question is that if I overtighten the bolts too much, can they affect the fuel flow at all? I am asking this because I am still getting fuel cut when I go WOT and I am on brand new lower injector seals. I did try some rubber gromits from the hardware store and they worked for a few pulls and the car pulled like a beast. I was expecting it to do the same when I replaced those gromits with the OEM seals, but I am still getting fuel cut. Do you think it is because I overtightened the rail too much and the seals aren't seated right?

IMO I dont think you can over tighten the rail. I really surprised you snapped a steel bolt inside an aluminum head. Usually the aluminum threads would give way.

I would do a boost leak test and make sure your lower injector seals are sealing. Oh and drill that bolt out and see what damage the head has.

I don't see any connection, between lower seals and fuel cut. They are just seals, nothing else.Your problem is somewhere else. Bolts on the fuel rail should be tight, but you have to be able to turn injectors by hand, otherwise is too tight and crushing the seals, causing leaks. I don't remember the torque specs for thesee bolts, but you'll find it if you search around.
