t3/t4 oil drain side

Does anyone know what side of a t3/t4 turbo the oil feed from the pump is and what side the oil is returned to the oil pan is? One adaptor has threads on the outside and has a small hole and one side has the treads on the inside and is larger. Thank you

It shouldn't be hard to tell. Take a picture if you can.
