PTE 50 trim or FP 20g6SL2?

Hello Fellow DSMers,

I would like some feedback on which turbo I should go with. Both turbo cost about the same at the moment. My goal is to reach 400hp with the supporting mods(DSMLink & 880cc injectors) and tuning. Remember my car is FWD so a little lag will help with traction.

I would go with atleast a 50 trim, maybe even something a little bigger like a 57trim or a 60-1.

If you want more lag then I vote 60 trim. If you want a small amount of lag and real nice top end go 50 trim.

I have a 50 trim on mine, it starts slow and then it hits hard. It would probably be perfect for you.

Thats the issue it hits too hard and will give him wheel spin. I would go with the 60 trim.

Another vote for the 60-1. Its got quit a bit a lag which would be perfect for a FWD car.

If there is wheel spin it would be a very small amount. My 50 trim probably doesn't hit until 3k or 3500.

I'm not too familiar with 57 trims compared to a 50 trim myself, but I remembered this quote:

I think that if you take a look at compressor maps the decision would be easy. The 57 trim and the 60 trim should be obsolete. There is no real advantage to either of those turbo's, over a 50 trim on a 2.0.
