First, hello. I'm a longtime DSMer, but a newcomer to dsmtuners. I've pretty much stuck with NEDSM, but I joined here to learn from and hopefully contribute to the auto trans community. So, without further preamble, meet what has been embarrassingly dubbed the Italian Talon:
Green 93 awd with straight red doors and 1/4's from a donor car and a somewhat rare fiberglass hood that just happens to be white. It's getting a cheap coat of black once I get my trans wiring situated.
Nothing too radical with the powerplant. Stock block and head, Forester intake, 272/272, sbr exh mani w/tial 38mm, all fed by a holset/bullseye with a 4'' inlet. Yea, stainless for the oil pressure send is overkill, but i like it anyway.
Had some fun with the fuel system. This is a -8 fitting welded onto the housing so my 255 wally can feed -8 all the way in.
Gauge panel came out alright. Radio goes below the gauges.
So did the oil cooler. Figured it would help with a dry turbo
It all fits. Love the shiny new IPT trans
And runs
Then some weird sh!t went down in the garage, and I backed off a bit
I'd post more, but I don't want to kill everyones bandwidth. I'm happy to offer help and advice based on what I've done if possible. Thanks already for the terrific help over in the a/t thread fella's. Much appreciated.
