Hello,
WEll i have searched a little but haven't had much luck. I have a question i am looking at a set of injectors they are pte 550cc, but they are the less common disc style? What is the difference? I see the disc are usually cheaper, what is the reason behind this? Are the disc a direct fit like the ball and seat ones? Just wandering which kind i should get the disc are a good deal, so i may get them. Any help would be appreciated.

From what I have read about the different styles of injectors, ball and seat are typically preferred over the disc style. I will have to get back to you about all of the reasons, but I know that they produce a better spray pattern than the disc. Also, the ball and seat are superior in the sense that they use a lighter armature. What this translates to is a faster response of the injector opening and closing as the coil is de/energized. They are also more durable as they do not wear as fast as the other forms of injectors.
I hope this helps,
Justin

Yeah i knew they were not as good, just dont know the reasons. I'm debating on weather going with a set of evo 560 or just getting these pte 550 disc injectors. THey are 150 bucks? i think i may be better off to just get the evo ones.
