When I come to a stop, and the trans shifts into 1st gear, there is a substantial 'clunk' noise that is also felt seat of the pants. May be a broken mount?
I just wonder if there is a common issue that causes this before I tear into troubleshooting it. AWD

Mine does this on occasion after being driven all day...its fine if the fluid, mounts, etc looks good dont worry about it...Mopar auto's are just like that. If it doesnt go to limp its all good.

Sounds good. Thanks for the help. I can put up with it if it doesn't get any worse. It could easily be normal because it isn't too bad. Just seems to do it more than my version of normal is used to! I'll definitely check the mounts, boots, etc... I think it is in the tranny now though. It does it with the downshift into first, and seems a little worse when warm, so I doubt it is a mount. I haven't had time to check yet.
