i guess the question would be what happened to the 4-bolt axle cups? or is there a difference in the strength from a 4-bolt with cups vs. straight up axle?
i only have been fooling with the 1g stuff and this is the first 2g for me and its not what i expected to see from what i always read about. no one has posted anything about these, that i can find anyway.
so are you saying the 2g didnt come with 4-bolt axles just the later 1g's?

2G rears spline in both the outside by the wheel and in the differential. Think of it this way: Contact surface for a torque load of the 4 bolts on the 1Gs vs. the surface area of splines with a torque load on the 2Gs. Now which one seems stronger?
